Trail Description
Beginning at the trailhead near East Mountain Drive, the path winds steadily uphill through shaded canyons and open ridgelines. Along the way, hikers will encounter a mix of oak woodlands, chaparral, and scenic vistas of the Pacific. The trail culminates at a cluster of geothermal pools—near the remnants of an old resort—where hikers can soak and relax. Because of its popularity, expect to share the trail, especially on weekends. Dogs are allowed and may be off-leash in certain areas. There are no restrooms at the trailhead.
