Since 1991, the Santa Ynez Valley Foundation has partnered with the community to enhance quality of life throughout the Santa Ynez Valley and Los Alamos. As a trusted source of local philanthropic support, the Foundation directs funding to programs and organizations that strengthen the region across five key areas: Food Security, Youth and Education, Health and Human Services, Arts and Culture, and Community Enhancement. In addition to its grantmaking, the Foundation administers a robust College Scholarship Program that empowers ambitious, college-bound students to pursue higher education. Each year, it also hosts the Champions of the Valley awards celebration, honoring exceptional volunteers whose service makes a lasting difference.
